Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef De Partie to join our culinary team in Great Malvern, United Kingdom. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to prepare and execute menu items with precision and creativity
  • Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring efficient operations and timely food production
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
  • Manage inventory and stock levels within your designated station
  • Contribute to the creation of new dishes and menu items
  • Ensure proper food presentation and garnishing before service
  • Participate in special events and themed dinners as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times


Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar culinary role
  • Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creativity and passion for culinary arts
  • Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Team player with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the culinary field
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends


Additional Information

Educated to GCSE levels with a good understanding of instructions verbal and written
