The George are seeking a Chef de Partie to join their team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie looking for a new role in an award winning, critically acclaimed group.

The group operates three of the most revered pubs in the UK —The George in Fitzrovia, The Cadogan Arms in Chelsea and The Hound in Chiswick. All of the pubs have garnered critical acclaim, with The Cadogan Arms ranking 40th on the 2024 Top 50 Gastropubs list, The George debuting at #91 on the 2024 Top 50-100 Gastropubs list and the group recognised as Food-Led Pub Group of the Year in the recent R200 Awards in November 2024.

James Knappett, of two Michelin-star Kitchen Table in Fitzrovia is culinary director, which is a sign of how important the food is at The George. Heading our kitchen day-to-day is John Sparks, and the pair are aiming to create a food and drink offering which celebrates British produce and the return of community driven, neighbourhood dining.

The Position

We're looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team, creating exceptional dishes and delivering an all-encapsulating experience to our guests. You'll have experience working in a quality kitchen, adhering to standard operating and Health and Safety procedures. More importantly we are looking for people for as passionate about food and hospitality as we are!

  • Prior experience as a Chef de Partie within a fast-paced quality, restaurant;
  • Eagerness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in;
  • A creative approach with impeccable attention to detail;
  • Passion for about food and hospitality, along with the eagerness to continually learn;
