We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team at a prestigious location in Edinburgh. You will play a key role in supporting the catering team, ensuring the highest standards of food service, hygiene, and customer experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Catering Assistant to make a name for themselves within the food service industry and be a part of setting the new standard for corporate catering.

• Assist in the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages.
• Ensure the catering area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all staff and visitors.
• Set up and clear down meeting rooms, dining areas, and service points.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and follow health and safety regulations.
• Support the catering team with general kitchen duties as required
• Delight our customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner
• Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks using the correct methods, equipment and to our standards
• Share the story of our menu, and provide recommendations to customers and be aware allergen procedures
• The pride in your workspace, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and other surrounding areas in line with cleaning schedules, company and COSHH standards
• Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines and procedures
• Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed
• Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
• Be a part of the team assisting on other tasks as needed
