We are looking for a Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team focused on curating an exceptional pre arrival journey and upselling across the Thyme Estate. Part time applicants may be considered.

As a Reservationist you will be responsible for all pre-arrival arrangements and the management of guest communication on the behalf of our hotel. You must be professional, discreet, and confident in your own ability. Working both within a team or alone it is essential for you to be able to prioritise for this role. With a 'can-do' attitude and a natural ability to go the extra mile, it is essential that you can use your initiative often thinking outside the box.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls from guests on behalf of our Hotel F&B outlets and the Spa
  • Managing bookings across the estate
  • Answering emails and following up on enquiries
  • Responding to Event enquiries
  • Communicating information accurately to relevant departments
  • Maximising ALL opportunities within guest interactions to upsell our Happenings and Offerings across our estate.

Typical shift times:

8am-5pm Daily.

11-8pm Daily.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous experience working within a hotel reservation desk would be desirable
  • Sound industry knowledge
  • Strong communicator with attention to detail, excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Confident with a ‘can-do’ attitude, with a natural ability to deliver an excellent customer experience from start to finish
  • Computer literate and exceptional telephone manner
  • Excellent personal appearance
  • Flexible work schedule includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
