Trampoline Based fitness – where having fun matters

Gravity Active Entertainment is a new way for people of all ages to enjoy exercise or simply to have fun. The indoor parks boast an open arena of interconnected trampolines that can be used for a variety of activities, including free jumping, fitness classes, group entertainment and parties. We are currently looking for a Group Fitness Instructor to deliver workout classes on the trampolines at Gravity Maidstone.

Main Responsibilities

• Teach safe, effective and challenging Group Fitness Classes on the trampolines within the park.
• Engage customers in a friendly and well-informed manner.
• Facilitate proper handling of customer concerns and effective completion of PAR-Q’s.
• Communicate frequently and effectively with the Park Management team.
• Encourage customer retention and the growth of the park’s fitness programme
• Classes will be 7-8pm and 8pm – 9pm on Wednesdays,
• Previous sessions were 45min HIIT sessions with time for changeover etc,  but happy to discuss with the instructor if they have something they would like to bring to the table.

Requirements

• Hold a current and valid Level 3 qualification within the fitness industry
• Ideally be CIMSPA or REPs registered & endorsed
• Have your own personal liability insurance.
• Experience in teaching group fitness classes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High energy level, positive attitude and dynamic personality.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Ability and desire to self-market your classes to increase participation levels.
• Trampoline experience would be advantageous.

Additional Information

Please note this is a self-employed role.

You must have a public liability certificate for no less than £1 million.

Salary: £25.00 per hour
