The IT Systems Administrator is a hybrid role, working from our dedicated IT office within Radisson Blu Hotel London Bloomsbury.
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to oversee and enhance our IT infrastructure across all Axiom Hospitality managed hotels. This pivotal role will report to the IT Director and be instrumental in maintaining our IT systems, supporting day-to-day operations, and ensuring the successful execution of our ambitious IT projects. The position offers a full-time opportunity with hybrid working arrangements, involving travel and overnight stays as required.

The Role
As IT Systems Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining IT infrastructure, supporting hotel and head office operations, managing third-party IT service providers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards like PCI-DSS and GDPR. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and have experience working with hospitality IT systems.
This year, we have a significant number of IT projects to deliver across our hotel portfolio, including infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and system enhancements. This role will be instrumental in supporting these initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and minimal disruption to operations.

- Have strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT challenges – a background in IT support and systems administration is essential.
- Be able to communicate effectively and present technical concepts with confidence – clear and concise communication is key when working with vendors, hotel teams, and senior stakeholders.
- Have a collaborative mindset – teamwork is critical as you will work across departments and with third-party providers to achieve business goals.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills – managing IT projects, assets, and support escalations requires precision and structured thinking.
- Have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT support to head office executive team as required, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Support IT infrastructure projects, including system rollouts and cloud migrations.
- Manage user onboarding/offboarding, including hardware procurement and access control.
- Act as an escalation point for hotels during high-priority (P1) incidents.
- Liaise with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure timely resolution of IT issues.
- Conduct bi-weekly service reviews to monitor MSP performance and SLA compliance.
- Working with IT Director, develop and implement hotel-specific IT policies for security, PCI-DSS compliance, and GDPR.
- Maintain a detailed inventory of IT assets across the head office and hotels, including hardware, software, and mobile devices.
- Manage internet circuits, telephony services, and support contract renewals, ensuring resilience and cost efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements within the IT landscape.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, networking and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of hospitality IT systems (PMS, POS, guest Wi-Fi, etc.) preferred.
- Understanding of PCI-DSS, GDPR, and IT security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage high-priority incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, ITIL) are advantageous.
