We are currently looking for a Restaurant Manager for Cullen's at the Cottage to join the team at The Lodge at Ashford Castle.

Key responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager will include:
• To manage Food & Beverage Standards within the Restaurant, ensuring that they meet the required Hotel/RCH Service Standards
• To monitor daily operations within the Restaurant, liaising closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and the Executive Head Chef to ensure that the F&B operation is organised effectively to meet daily business needs
• To be fully aware of Hotel Function Sheets and Restaurant Bookings, ensuring the Restaurant has sufficient equipment, resources and staffing levels to meet the business demands
• To be actively involved in all aspects of daily operations in a ‘hands on’ capacity
The ideal candidate for the Restaurant Manager position should:
• Have successfully graduated with a Hospitality related degree
• Have previous solid experience in the Management of a similar F&B function. Previous 5 star hotel F&B experience.
• Possess a strong knowledge and passion for Food & Beverage
• Good ability to manage all cost controls e.g. food cost, labour etc.
• Experience of staff training, rotas, financial reporting, stock control and ordering
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good ability to handle pressurised situations and busy periods
• Flexible, innovative and adaptable
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
