Cocktail Bar Waiter/Waitress

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £12.25 per hour + Service charge

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and attentive Cocktail Waiter/Waitress to join our team in The Bloomsbury Club Bar.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests in a fast-paced environment while serving a variety of cocktails and beverages. The role involves taking drink orders, preparing cocktails, delivering drinks to customers, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take drink orders accurately and efficiently, both at the bar and from tables.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, mixed drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and tables.
• Assist bartenders in restocking supplies and maintaining bar inventory.
• Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and adhere to company policies and legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Provide excellent customer service by being attentive, responsive, and addressing any guest needs or concerns.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure compliance with alcohol laws.
• Assist with setting up and closing the bar area, including cleaning glassware, wiping down surfaces, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Collaborate with other waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle cash, process payments, and provide accurate change to customers.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by ensuring prompt service and addressing any issues or special requests.
