Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust CI/CD pipelines and ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems through advanced monitoring solutions. This role is pivotal in bridging development and operations to accelerate software delivery. It also requires development skills in python.
Project Overview:
You will be working on an innovative software solution for the hospitality industry that leverages AI to automate critical hotel operations, such as reservations and customer support. The product integrates with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to streamline workflows and enhance guest experiences. As part of this dynamic project, you'll play a key role in developing scalable infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring seamless operations in a high-availability environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Kubernetes Implementation & Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters to streamline container orchestration and scaling.
CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for GitLab.
Monitoring & Performance: Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system health and uptime.
Infrastructure as Code: Utilize IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure automation.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management, scaling, and troubleshooting.
Expertise in CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or similar.
Strong understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
Proficiency with Python for automation and development.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Kubernetes (e.g., CKA, CKAD).
Experience with logging tools like ELK Stack or Fluentd.
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
