Our Electronics Engineer
We’re looking for an Electronics Engineer to take the lead in developing, implementing, and maintaining the electronic systems and architecture that keep our organisation running smoothly. In this role, you’ll ensure our systems are reliable, meet business needs, and align with our forward-thinking approach to technology and digitisation. You’ll work closely with teams across the business and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure our IT applications are performing at their best.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated, confident, and personable individual with a keen eye for detail. It’s a varied position, offering the chance to support our team, visitors, and guests while tackling diverse responsibilities. We’re seeking someone proactive, logical, and diligent—someone who thrives on challenges and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing and managing electronic systems and architecture for our various exhibits, buildings and infrastructure across a wide and varied estate from the hotels through to our museums and exhibits.
- Project Management: Plan projects, preparing documentation, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, typically this will include scoping of new technology or capabilities, through to implementation and through life support.
- Testing and Maintenance: Conducting tests to ensure the functionality and safety of electronic systems, diagnosing issues, and performing maintenance tasks.
- Collaboration: Working with other engineers, IT specialists, and technicians to design and improve electronic equipment and systems across the estate.
- Compliance: Ensuring that all products and systems meet safety and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for
- Educational Background: A degree in electronic engineering or a related field is essential
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in software packages, understanding of electronic systems and architecture, and familiarity with safety standards.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse, evaluate, design, develop, integrate, debug and test real-time advanced digital exhibits and user experiences.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings
- Thirst for Knowledge: Learn constantly, educate others, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of digital architecture problem solving.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate in a team environment across multiple engineering and no-engineering disciplines, making the architectural trade-offs required to rapidly deliver digital technologies.
Where you'll be working - Our Engineering Team
The Engineering Department looks after the companies assets (Buildings, Digital architecture, IT Infrastructure, Mechanical plant, and Vehicles), conducting scheduled checks and preventive maintenance in all areas of the estate. Engineering also respond to guest requests should they have issues and to colleague requests from across the estate.
