Sandwich Chef

Searcys are looking for a Sandwich Chef to join the team at 116 Pall Mall. As a Searcys Chef you will be required to be an ambassador for the brand and deliver food that creates lasting memories. You will be supporting the Kitchen Team in the day to day running of the venue.  

116 Pall Mall is a stunning Georgian venue dating back to 1820 in the heart of London. Originally de-signed by John Nash, the architect behind Marble Arch and Brighton Pavilion. This venue benefits from traditional meeting rooms to glamourous chandelier filled ballrooms.

The Sandwich Chef Role role is mainly Monday to Friday with a few evening shifts and Occasional Weekends.

As a Sandwich Chef at 116 Pall Mall, you will be required to be adaptable as the venue is diverse and at any time will have multiple events happening across a number of floors. 

Job Type: Full Time 

Salary: £31,675 pa

• 7.30 – 17.00 Monday to Friday with overtime option 

Responsibilities:

• To provide food/service to a consistent high standard, including assisting senior chefs with all events in the building as well as other areas throughout the business
• Support all senior Chefs in delivering food/service, with particular focus in the sandwich preparation area
• To liaise with key people in the team, in order to plan for the provision of food in all areas
• To ensure smooth running of daily operations which include ensuring no disruption to the pre agreed menu offer, adhering to all standards laid out by the senior team
• Responsible for managing stock level and waste control – related to their work area
• Ensure the presentation of the food is consistent with the standards set by senior chefs
• To comply with all legal requirements with reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority or client stipulation
• To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to, as described in the Searcy Health & Safety Policy, including best practices to always ensure personal hygiene is always maintained
