Painter & Decorator

We are now looking for a Painter and Decorator to join our highly successful team.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, as Painter and Decorator you will be fully conversant in all areas of painting and decorating as well as a basic knowledge of general repairs. You will have fantastic communication skills, a good level of English and, as the role predominantly includes working within our bedrooms and public areas, a clean smart appearance is a must for this role.

The primary focuses of the role of Painter & Decorator includes:

• Maintaining all 162 bedrooms to a high standard of decoration and presentation
• Maintaining all public areas, including, the lobby, bar and restaurant, spa and meeting rooms to a high standard of decoration and presentation
• Maintaining all back of house and staff areas to a high standard of decoration and presentation
• Working in all areas highlighted both reactively as repairs arise, and proactively to a planned schedule
• Communicating with linked departments to ensure any works are completed in an appropriate timeframe without affecting the guest experience
• Recording and logging all works completed
