The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for Director of Food & Beverage (maternity cover) to join and lead our talented Food and Beverage team. ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a one year maternity contract, with a start date of mid-late April 2025.
In the role of Director of Food and Beverage (maternity cover), your key focus will be to:
- plan, organise, direct and control the day-to-day activities of the Food & Beverage outlets to achieve quality and profitability targets
- partner with Chef Roux Ltd on the strategic direction of the F&B outlets and the delivery of services therein
- review and evaluate the degree of customer acceptance of F&B products and service offerings though Guest Satisfaction Index (GSI) ratings and/or external ratings agencies (e.g. TripAdvisor)
- work with Sales & Marketing and Roux partners to identify and exploit F&B marketing and promotion opportunities
- maintain an awareness of F&B market trends/competitor activity and recommends changes to menu and service methodologies to keep up with, or ahead of, market
- undertake project work in relation to the F&B division at the direction of the Managing Director & Hotel Manager.
