Located just a stone’s throw away from the very heart of Berlin, Generator Alexanderplatz gives you the chance to work in the cultural epicentre of the capital – and welcomes creatives, artists, ravers, musicians, and thrill-seekers from all around the world.

It is currently boasting 132 rooms & 690 beds, being a little gem in our portfolio. Kind of a “no brainer” to take this iconic hotel with us on our Generator journey, give it the best parts of our Generator DNA in order to transform this into a socially driven, loud and welcoming community hot spot (with some kick-ass parties & events, of course).

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Build a customer base for Events
• Work closely in commercial partnership with your reservations team and local operations teams.
• Build long term, commercially beneficial relationships within your market
• Understand, develop and follow company and reservations specific practices e.g. Rate Strategy and sales.
• Assist with the management of allocations, free sale and over bookings for the hostel
• Be accountable for the accuracy of outstanding payables from all channels
• Work closely with the team to deliver on targeted revenues
• Be commercially savvy in exploring new revenue streams
• Ensure to attract new customers.

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• Experienced in working within in Meeting & Events or Sales.
• Commercially savvy with a proven background to spot business opportunities
• Knowledgeable of the local and accommodation market
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
