POSITION PURPOSE
The role of the Marketing Manager will sit within the Brand, Marketing & Communications team and will report to the Director of Marketing & Communications. The Marketing Manager will primarily support the team in strategising and amplifying the Club’s branding & marketing activities, including branding, PR, web, email marketing, graphic design, content creation, social media, and events. The role will encompass creative, logistic, and administrative responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DAILY DUTIES
- Support with the planning, development, and execution of the Club’s brand and marketing activities across
- Branding: managing brand coherence efforts across the below pillars, keeping all brand assets up-to-date in line with the evolving Club targets;
- PR: managing the implementation of the PR agency’s quarterly action plan across press and KOLs;
- Web, App & Podcast: creating strategic copy and curating the visual experience on a very regular basis in line with the platform requirements, brand TOV, and target demographic;
- Email Marketing: creating the bi-weekly newsletters across copy & visuals in line with the evolving objectives of the contributing departments, and members’ booking behaviour & needs;
- Graphic & Product Design: providing clear guidelines for the Club’s graphic designs across brand assets, print & digital collateral, illustrations, and merchandise;
- Content Creation: strategising and guiding the Club’s content creation activities across photo- and videography, and animations;
- Social Media: supporting with the creation and implementation of the Club’s social media strategy (focus on Instagram and LinkedIn), including a quarterly content plan (brand/local);
- Events: supporting with the creation and implementation of the Club’s event strategy across local and international occasions (e.g. Ramadan, Christmas) and member activations
- Work with the Director of Marketing & Communications to strategise brand & marketing initiatives across the Club offerings, and keep track of the established marketing KPIs
- Support with the assessment of the Club’s marketing needs, in line with the brand identity, target demographic, and specific occasions
- Strategise and coordinate the feedback from the relevant Heads of Department across Marketing, Design & Architecture, Cultural Programme, and Operations, to ensure the brand and marketing initiatives are in line with the respective departmental requirements
- Initiate research necessary to build the marketing strategy of the Club
- Support with the selection of external contributors (agencies/suppliers), and manage their respective contributions
- Attend relevant events and members’ activations
- Min. 5 years of marketing-related experience in hospitality, fashion, or related
- Strong affinity with the luxury industry required
- In-depth knowledge of luxury branding & marketing strategies
- Extensive experience with Instagram, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, Keynote, Monday, Wordpress, Mailchimp, ChatGPT prompts
- Basic experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Basic experience with content creation (photography)
- Experience with videography is a plus
- Proficiency in writing copy for web, newsletters, and social media
- Profound eye for detail
