Gracey’s started as a lockdown mobile pop-up. From our St Albans flagship shop, we have carved a reputation for serving up distinctive Italian-American style crispy 12 and 16 inch pizza pies. We’ve now branched into London, joining a host of other food brands in the iconic Battersea Power Station Arcade Food Hall.

The Role
We are seeking a focussed individual with an aptitude to listen, learn and be coached in the skill of pizza-making using an electric deck oven in the style that we push out. At any time, you will be working collaboratively to successfully deliver a high volume of pizzas, at a fast pace and to an exacting standard, from the stretch to the bake. You will learn to prepare toppings and dips; you will help to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen by completing stock takes and handovers.

Desirable but not necessary:
● Experience of making pizza
● Experience of cooking using a commercial pizza oven
● Kitchen experience whether cooking or working with food
● Industry experience of working in hospitality

Necessary:
● Attention to detail and methodical approach to work
● The ability to listen, learn and be coached in the skill of pizza making to a high standard
● Positive team work ethic
● Commitment to working efficiently and with a sense of urgency
● Determination to make delicious food
● Desire to provide excellent service
● Be patient, calm and responsive to feedback
