Team Support are our mobile team of Receptionists who help to satisfy Portico’s daily staffing needs. We are on the lookout for an empowered, organised and flexible Assistant Manager for the team.
As part of the management team for Team Support, you will help to oversee the cover requirements for the entire business! You will help to oversee the successful day-to-day operation of the largest team within Portico, ensuring that all service levels provided by the team are in line with our expectations and our client’s. Along with the day to day coordination of the team, the Assistant Manager will also manage the HR, recruitment and health & safety needs of the team, as well as closely assisting the team’s manager to prepare the financial budgets and targets.
Hours: 40 hours per week, shift patterns are 5 days out of 7 and can include weekends.
Salary: £40,000 per annum.
Qualifications
Because of the high level of day-to-day management duties in the role, previous exposure to the managing and rostering of a large team is a necessary requirement.
Finding solutions to all problems is another key element of the role. So, a “will-do” attitude, along with excellent organisation and problem-solving skills will give the successful candidate the ability to make quick and informed choices, based on risk and consequence in this stimulating and everchanging environment.
Finally, knowledge of excellent service delivery and the ability to manage this expectation remotely, will help the successful candidate to manage the expectations of both their team and the client.
