Reporting to the Group Social Media and Content Manager, the Social Media Executive, London will oversee and support the social media initiatives for The Doyle Collection’s three London hotels—The Kensington, The Bloomsbury, and The Marylebone—as well as their associated restaurants and bars. This role will focus on enhancing brand visibility, fostering audience engagement, and driving revenue through innovative social media strategies and creative content creation.

The role involves managing social media channels, coordinating and executing content plans, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to align with the brand's objectives. Additionally, they will track campaign performance, optimise social media activities, and leverage analytics to refine strategies, drive online engagement, and contribute to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Group Head of Social Media and Content to align social media strategies with overarching brand objectives and group campaigns.
  • Develop and implement engaging social media content tailored to the unique identity of each London hotel and their respective restaurants and bars, maintaining brand consistency in tone, style, and visuals.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and designers to create high-quality visual and written content specifically for social media platforms.
  • Engage actively with social media audiences by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering a vibrant online community that reflects the luxury brand's values.
  • Plan and execute targeted social media campaigns, including paid social advertising, to increase visibility, drive engagement, and support revenue goals.
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance using platform analytics and tools, providing actionable insights to optimize future strategies.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Partner with hotel teams to identify social media opportunities that align with operational goals and promote events, offers, and unique experiences.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of social media campaigns and broader marketing initiatives.
  • Provide regular performance reports with recommendations to enhance social media efforts and maximize ROI.

Key Skills:

  • Exceptional written, editorial, and communication skills, with a strong creative sensibility and attention to detail, ensuring content aligns with a luxury aesthetic and brand values.
  • Proven ability to create engaging and visually appealing content for social media channels, with a deep understanding of storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and tools, including scheduling, analytics, and basic content editing software, to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • An eye for detail and design, ensuring all content maintains a cohesive, premium look and feel.
  • Basic knowledge of social media advertising tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager) and an understanding of how to boost posts to reach key audiences.
  • A natural ability to balance creativity with insights, using analytics to inform content strategies and improve performance.
  • A passion for luxury hospitality and a strong understanding of London’s culture, events, and attractions to create content that resonates with target audiences.
  • A collaborative approach, working effectively with designers, photographers, and other creative professionals to produce high-quality social media assets.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, with additional qualifications in marketing, social media, or a related field considered a plus.
