Role purpose:
· Lead Backoffice solutions Programs (Procurement, HR, Sustainability, Legal, Payments, OneERP, P2P), provide guidelines, reports, budget supervision.
· Lead the 5YP program related to Backoffice ensuring projects are delivered in time, cost and quality.
· Coordinate external audit deliveries
· Analyse and comprehend business needs and requirements to provide strategic solutions for the hotel group.
· Manage stakeholders’ project expectations, escalations and weekly reporting to relevant areas and within IT.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document project requirements and submit proper requests of budgets for 5YP initiatives approval.
Roles/Responsibilities |
· Govern Backoffice solutions Programs (Procurement, HR, Sustainability, Legal, Payments, OneERP, P2P), provide guidelines, reports, budget supervision. · Lead Backoffice programs and projects evolutions. · Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand drivers, definition and evolution of KPIs and scope of the projects. · Analyse current business processes and identify areas for improvement to develop new programs or projects within 5YP Initiatives. · Control project budgets and delivery milestones avoiding deviations that will have negative impact on the business · Work actively and closely with Backoffice team and software development teams to ensure user requirements are clearly understood and developed as specified in the documentation. · Perform estimation for new initiatives; ensuring timelines are realistic and achievable. · Provide regular status reporting to stakeholders including status against milestones, and transparency of risks/ issues. · Excellent communication skills to provide business stakeholders and IT CIO visibility on project status and issues/risks. · Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of process changes. |
· Coordinate internal team to ensure there is a development and maintenance of requirement documentation, including scope, objectives, functional specifications, and use cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
· Work with development and testing teams to ensure solutions meet project requirements.
· Monitor and control project progress, identifying and reporting deviations or problems.
Job requirements and qualifications: |
Location: · Madrid (other Spain locations are acceptable). Language skills: · English fluent at negotiation level · French desirable Must have experience · At least 8 years of experience in lead roles or similar in a large complex organisation with a multinational environment. · Extensive experience across all stages of the software development lifecycle. · Excellent level of English with good communication skills (oral & writing) · Strong stakeholder management skills. · Ability and flexibility to adjust to a fast-changing and demanding environment. · Project management experience in SAP S/4 HANA Desirable experience · Jira/Confluence · Hospitality sector · TMS · Background in international organizations. · SAP Certification Travel needs · Less than 15% Soft skills: · Collaborative attitude and experience working remotely in multicultural teams across different countries. · Highly influential, leadership, communication at least at director level, · efficiency, sociability, goods skills of write and oral communication is a must. · Argumentation and conflict management Minimum education: · Bachelor’s degree in Management, International Relations, or IT-related fields.
