For 13 years we have been offering our famous EAT.DRINK.PLAY experience with unrivalled street food, bars, shops and entertainment all under one roof. Where else could you eat Greek gyros and catch a Harry Styles party all in one place? Or play crazy golf, eat a Bao and watch Stormzy perform? Nowhere!

In 2011 we created the world’s first pop-up dining and shopping destination in the heart of Shoreditch before opening venues in other iconic locations in Croydon, Wembley and in 2024 we opened in Liverpool and Camden.

We are growing quickly and we have a brand new leisure concept coming to BOXPARK Croydon...PLAYBOX!!!!!! 

This is a competitive socialising platform which includes electric shuffle, interactive darts, arcades and even its own karaoke rooms! 

The Role:

PLAYBOX is looking for enthusiastic and eager Hosts to provide friendly and memorable customer experiences within our leisure offering. The Host is often the first person that the customers sees when they enter our sites. It is therefore important that you are confident, approachable, friendly and enjoy working with the public. 

Duties include greeting and seating bookings, organising daily/weekly/monthly bookings queries, and assisting with general guest enquiries from the door to the floor.  

The ideal candidate is flexible, sociable and patient, with the ability to make each guest feel "special" in all circumstances.

Reporting to the Senior Host Manager, your duties & key skills will include : 

• Delivering an exceptional customer experience and welcoming guests.

• Assisting with guest enquiries, bookings and games. 

• Excellent knowledge regarding operations of the leisure equipment including karaoke rooms

• Trouble-shooting, must have a calm head and be able to troubleshoot any technical issues 

• Have experience in late-night, social competitive and busy environments.

• Strong awareness of offers and promotions within PLAYBOX. 

• Coordinating with management and wider team to ensure we create a memorable overall guest experience.
