Learning & Development Partner

As a Partner, you’ll equip the team with skills, tools, and confidence to succeed. Design, deliver, and manage impactful training programs. Collaborate to foster personal and professional growth while supporting operational excellence. 

This role combines creativity, coaching, and strategic problem-solving with balancing priorities, managing multi-site responsibilities, and adapting to an evolving business landscape.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Training Design & Delivery: Create and implement engaging programs for leaders at all levels, ensuring alignment with Ole & Steen’s values.   

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with operations, People teams, and senior leadership to align training with business objectives.   

  • Apprenticeship Programs: Oversee apprenticeship opportunities, leveraging the apprenticeship levy to maximize development.   

  • LMS Management: Administer and innovate within the learning management system (LMS) or learning experience platform (LXP).   

  • Content Innovation: Stay at the forefront of industry trends to ensure cutting-edge and effective learning solutions.   

  • Team Support: Lead and mentor team members, including the Coffee & Guest Experience Trainer, to deliver exceptional training.   

About You 

Essential Qualifications & Experience:   

  • +3 years of experience in operations within a fast-paced hospitality or retail brand.   

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).   

  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and conducting Learning Needs Analysis.   

  • Proven track record in designing and delivering training programs from scratch.   

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and learning technologies. 

 

Desirable:   

  • Professional certification in Learning & Development, Training, or Coaching (e.g., CIPD, ILM).   

  • Experience managing apprenticeship programs and working with external providers.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.   

  • Analytical, organizational, and project management expertise.
