EXPERIENCED PRIVATE CHEF REQUIRED IN CENTRAL LONDON

A HNW Principal is looking to hire an inventive and down-to-earth Chef on a permanent basis to prepare daily meals for himself and his colleagues at his apartment in Central London. The principal is Halal, so ideally, he is looking for someone with experience preparing Halal meals.

The ideal candidate should enjoy creating interesting and creative dishes that burst with flavor and are presented well. The principal would require a late lunch and dinner on a daily basis. They love healthy, high protein, family style meals that are full of flavor. You should feel comfortable experimenting with different foods and flavors and being able to clean up after yourself.

Although the household is not very formal and tends to eat family style, they still expect gorgeous presentation and high-quality food. You should be highly discreet, grounded and have a natural talent for cooking delicious dishes that would impress the principal. Candidates with previous private chef experience will be highly sought after and you should live within a commutable distance of Central London

Usual working hours would typically be from 14:00 - 20:00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required at times. Ideally the principal is looking for someone to start after the Christmas period.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

• Menu planning in line with dietary requirements and the principals’ preferences
• Preparing beautifully presented and delicious meals that burst with flavor
• Sourcing high quality, and where possible locally sourced, ingredients
• Maintaining hygiene standards to the highest level
• Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times
• Clearing up after meals
• Food quality control
• Liaising with the principal on event details when required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Prior experience as a Private Chef
• Ability to prepare delicious meals whilst adhering to dietary requirements
• Experience in cooking Halal meals
• Can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
• Strict hygiene procedures
• Highly organised, motivated, and proactive
• Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet
• Excellent checkable references
• Eligibility to work in the UK
