Job Purpose

Responsible for delivering an exceptional service experience for AllBright/everywoman members and guests. This role involves leading and motivating the Front of House team, ensuring seamless service, maintaining outstanding standards of hospitality, and create a warm and personalised atmosphere while acting as a key liaison to uphold the Townhouse reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, service expertise, and a passion for hospitality within a dynamic environment.

Outline of Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the front of house team to ensure exceptional and consistent service delivery
  • Oversee daily floor operations including table allocations, staff rotations and stock levels
  • Monitor service flow and ensure the smooth execution of all dining services, including private events
  • Provide expert food and beverage recommendations when requested, upselling when appropriate
  • Train and mentor Front of House staff, fostering a collaborative working environment
  • Assist in stock ordering and stocktake
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
  • Work closely with the Kitchen, Bar, and Management teams to ensure seamless coordination
  • Attend weekly briefings to review weekly specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations and private hire events
  • Contribute to the development of service strategies and enhancements to improve member satisfaction
  • Undertake Front of House duties and always provide excellent customer service
  • Respond to changes in the Townhouse as dictated by the needs of the industry and/or company
  • Demonstrate flexibility by taking on additional tasks and responsibilities within your role’s capabilities, including redeployment to different floors or areas as needed to support business demands and member requirements
  • Attend all required training sessions to enhance skills and maintain service standards
  • Consistently enforce the established steps of service to deliver exceptional experiences for guests
  • Develop strong relationships with members, understanding their preferences and providing a personalised experience.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by supporting colleagues, maintaining a positive attitude, and contributing to a strong team dynamic
  • Aid members and guests with additional needs, ensuring their comfort and ease when navigating the building
  • Open and close the building in accordance with the designated checklists to maintain operational readiness
  • Handle member feedback with professionalism and discretion, escalating issues when necessary
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and Townhouse policies

 General Responsibilities:

  • Undertake any additional duties as reasonably directed by management
  • Adhere to company practices, policies and procedures
  • Ensure good communication with all colleagues, ELT and SLT

 Person Specification:

  • 2-3 years in a similar role, preferably in a member’s club or luxury hospitality setting
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Warm, friendly, and approachable demeanour
  • Ability to work proactively and effectively during busy periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for members and their guests, always delivering exceptional service
  • Charismatic and engaging
  • Maintains a high standard of conduct, presentation, and attitude in all situations
  • Ability to build rapport and good client relationships
