With a new state-of-the-art kitchen and a focus on delivering fresh, seasonal dishes, we’re looking for a talented Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen alongside our experienced Head Chef David. What we look for in a Sous Chef:
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef, or Senior CDP looking for the next step in their career, who thrives in a hands-on, dynamic kitchen environment. As a natural leader, you'll have a flair for producing high-quality dishes while fostering a collaborative, positive team culture. You’ll be instrumental in driving the success of the kitchen, ensuring that we consistently deliver excellent food and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead by example: Champion excellent service through the delivery of quality, fresh food.
Team leadership: Inspire, motivate, and develop kitchen staff to maintain a smooth, high-performing kitchen.
Operational efficiency: Manage kitchen staff rotas, training, and all health & safety requirements.
Creative input: Collaborate with the Head Chef to design and implement new dishes and daily specials.
Organisational skills: Maintain effective control of costs (GP, labour) while ensuring consistent food quality.
Drive growth: Work alongside the front-of-house team to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
