Financial Controller

Our Financial Controller at Amber Beverage UK will be instrumental in the smooth running of the business, using their overall business insight to make the right decisions when it comes to cost and translating financial information to the business so everyone understands how they can contribute to the bottom line. What kind of things will I be doing?
The primary purpose of the role is to manage the day-to-day operation of the Finance team, but you will also:
- Own the month end process
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage short/medium/long term liquidity in the business
- Prepare and update cash flow forecasts
- Management of the working capital facility
- Oversee the management of accounts receivable and account payable ledgers (including two direct reports)
- Monthly preparation of supplier statement reconciliations
- Management of overheads for all reporting and planning cycles
- Issue cost centre reporting
- Process payroll and expenses
What kind of thing have I done before?
You will be a qualified account with experience of holding similar responsibilities. You will have experience in conducting reviews and evaluation of cost-reduction opportunities. Line management experience would be helpful.
For exceptional candidates with the right mindset, we are willing to consider first time movers from practice with 3+ years PQE.
