Maintenance Assistance
Mission: Responsible for both proactive and reactive general maintenance of the hotel interior and exterior to ensure the property meets high standards, including maintaining hotel fixtures, fittings, plumbing, electrics, and equipment in accordance with company standards, legal requirements, and guest expectations. Will also perform general painting and decorating, coordinate with the front desk and contractors for planned maintenance, and carry out other technical duties as needed.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Ensure that all required decorating and maintenance areas meet the expected standard.
Keep up-to-date records of all room audits and file appropriately.
Respond efficiently to all guest needs concerning maintenance.
Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and cleaned after each shift.
Maintain the appearance of the Hotel and be proactive in identifying and resolving issues as quickly as possible.
Have full knowledge of the company’s health and safety, as well as fire safety and emergency procedures.
Assist in pre-planned maintenance as instructed by the line manager.
Attend all departmental meetings, briefings & internal or external training sessions as required.
What we are looking for?
Qualification in at least one of the maintenance trades & previous experience in Hotel Maintenance.
Great customer service & communication skills.
Proactive and positive personality
Flexibility, ability to respond quickly and positively to customers’ and hotel’s needs.
Great team-player with ability to show co-operation and support to colleagues and other departments within the hotel.
The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
