F&B Assistant

Linton Lodge Oxford, part of the Best Western Signature Collection, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Food and Beverage (F&B) Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

• Guest Service Excellence: Provide high standards of hospitality by efficiently handling guest requests, maintaining knowledge of all food and beverage menus, and ensuring compliance with company SOPs and QA standards.

• Operational Support: Assist with all F&B operations, including handling orders, using the Point of Sale (POS) system, and ensuring that cleanliness and safety standards are maintained throughout the restaurant and bar areas.

• Customer Care: Deliver friendly, professional, and courteous service at all times. Address guest inquiries, resolve issues and service excellence processes to ensure full customer satisfaction.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and an exceptional guest experience. Support colleagues in achieving department goals and maintaining seamless service delivery.

• Sales Support: Actively promote hotel services, up-sell food and beverage items.

• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all legal responsibilities, including food hygiene, health and safety regulations, and fire safety procedures. Maintain personal and workspace cleanliness in line with the hotel's grooming standards.

• Enthusiasm for providing outstanding guest service within the hospitality sector.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus.
