Job Title: Cleaning OperativeLocation: Denham, BuckinghamshireSalary: £26,775 + Overtime (at time and a half)Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team in Denham. This role is key to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment within our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness across the site, including machine maintenance areas and outdoor spaces. If you have experience in cleaning, waste management, or hazardous material handling, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Cleaning:
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
  • Ensure work areas are tidy and safe, reducing risks of accidents.
• Waste Management:
  • Empty swarf bins and dispose of materials safely.
  • Recycle materials in line with company procedures.
• Machine Maintenance Cleaning:
  • Clean the exterior of machines and remove any waste or debris.
  • Empty sumps and clean areas around machines.
  • Manage coolant and oil spills, ensuring proper clean-up.
• Hazardous Material Handling:
  • Safely clean up and dispose of hazardous materials in line with procedures.
• Yard Management:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of outdoor areas, including skips and walkways.
  • Ensure all yard areas are tidy and free from hazards.

Requirements:

• Experience in machine cleaning, waste management, or handling hazardous materials is highly desirable.
• Physically capable of handling heavy lifting and manual tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
• Forklift or Robur Pallet Truck experience is a plus, but not essential.
