Overview

Montcalm Marble Arch is looking for a skilled and ambitious Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Management Team and the General Manager overseeing daily operations of the F&B Outlets, ensuring exceptional service standards and delivering a luxury dining experience.

 This role involves leading, training and supervising F&B Team, maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations. The F&B Supervisor will act as a key point of contact between guests and the kitchen and will ensure that all service standards reflect the hotel’s luxury brand.

 Key Responsibilities 

·         Greet all guests with a warm and welcoming demeanour around the hotel.

·         Supervise daily operations of all F&B outlets, including, restaurants, bars, lunges, room service, banquets as assigned).

·         Ensure smooth service flow, timely order delivery, and high-quality guest experience.

·         Assist in coordination of large events, private dining, and special functions.

·         Manage Restaurant bookings, making sure all customers experience five star service.

·         Monitor team schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.

·         Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing F&B Team to deliver superior gust experience.

·         Conduct on-the-job training for the team, lead by example.

·         Ensure F&B Team is presentable at all times, adhering to grooming and uniform standards.

·         Assist in the onboarding of new team members.

·         Welcome guests with genuine hospitality and anticipate their needs, ensure outstanding dining experience.

·         Build and maintain strong guest relationships, ensuring repeat business and satisfaction.

·         Handle guests’ inquiries and complaints with professionalism, resolving issues promptly and effectively.

·         Answer and manage incoming calls, emails, and reservations, ensuring all communication is handled professionally and efficiently.

·         Ensure compliance with all health & safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards).

·         Monitor cleanliness and proper maintenance of all F&B areas, equipment and utensils.

·         Ensure the service standards align with the hotel’s brand requirements and exceed guest expectations.

·         Assist in managing inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimising waste.

·         Oversee accurate billing, cash handling and payment procedures.

·         Assist with monthly inventory checks and stock control.

·         Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and timely service.

·         Coordinate with other departments, i.e. housekeeping, front office, for special requests, events and guest needs.

·         Participate in regular meetings with management to discuss operations, staff and guest feedback.

·         Respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following hotel protocols.

Essential Qualifications

·         Degree in Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.

·         Minimum of 3 years’ experience in food and beverage with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
