Reports to: Head Chef
We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for assisting with keeping correct food standards, staff management, inventory/purchasing of supplies. In the absence of the Head Chef, you will oversee the smooth running of the kitchen.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Kitchen Operations:
- Maintain a high level of food quality and production with the aim of exceeding our guest’s expectations.
- Support the Head Chef to ensure effective control of stock purchasing, receipt, storage, preparation, and service with regard to quality and quantity.
- Oversee the maintenance of kitchen equipment, communicate with the Head Chef when repairs are needed.
- Support the Head Chef with the orders, delivery control and invoices.
Team Management:
- Support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team, ensuring a smooth operation of the kitchen. In the absence of the Head Chef, supervise the kitchen team.
- Take on leadership, mentorship, and training of the junior staff, encouraging their career development within the Company
- Ensure that all Health and Safety regulations are adhered and applied.
Reporting:
In coordination with the Head Chef:
- Ensure that the food operations are controlled to reach the desired cost of sales, maximizing potential and optimizing resources.
- Manage the inventory and order stock as needed.
