Sous Chef

M Restaurants are looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef, to come and join our already fantastic team to provide high-end guest service. This is a role where you will need to hit the ground running, with your knowledge already at a high level, for what is an integral role for the business. The ideal candidate will be an experience Sous Chef in a fresh food kitchen, and be passionate about fresh food and produce. This is an exciting role where you can manage a team, run the kitchen and work in a fast-paced environment. They must be able to deliver high quality dishes following a spec and have a genuine passion for cooking.

You will:
- Have a passion for fresh produce and for developing new menus
- Have worked as a Sous Chef in a high-pressure kitchen environment
- Be able to run a kitchen and communicate with the team effectively in the Head Chef’s absence
- Have a good history of controlling cost of sales, and ability to control wage costs
- Maintain cleanliness in the work place
- Passionate about sustainable food of a high quality
- Take accountability for the kitchen stock and food safety
