The Role:
You will support the hotel’s finance management by covering all aspects involved with the role.
- Daily Banking
- AR Ledger Management
- Guest Ledger and Voucher account control
- Filing, data entry, typing and assisting with the management of communications and
- Paperwork, managing diaries, assisting with travel arrangements/organisation,
- Assist Line Manager to make improvements and implement required changes
- Assist Line Manager to liaise with external agencies relation to administration matters
- Reporting (content and format as agreed) on a daily/ weekly/ monthly basis as agreed
- Achieve agreed personal targets and assist Line Manager in to achieve agreed team targets
- Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work
- Report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line Manager
- Train in best way to meet targets and contribute to those of the team
- Interact and co-operate with all members of the organisation, its suppliers and clients/customers
- Maintain daily reconciliation of payments, resolving discrepancies and working alongside central finance function
- Assist in the housekeeping of the procurement system and processing of invoices
- Assist in the debt recovery of the in-house ledger and deal with customer queries and requests
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Passion to provide exemplary customer service. Administration background essential and financial background desirable.
