We are Gravity, we are the UK’s biggest names in active entertainment. Fun is our key word, where our sites can offer up to 30 activities from e-karting to trampoline parks, high wall climbing to augmented reality bowling. We are now looking for an Assistant General Manager to join us at our Gravity Active site in Leeds.
The sites core business is as a trampoline park. The site boasts various activities ranging from an airbag to total wipeout. The team is well trained and dedicated to the site and its continued success. Aside from the obvious attractions there is a café selling everything from coffee to pizza. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to support our newly promoted General Manager in the running and continued growth of this flagship site.
More about you….
We are looking for a leader, someone who is happy to roll their sleeves up and get the job done. Your background will be strong within the leisure environment, either coming from a similar trampoline venue or similar such as bowling, Karting or other entertainments.
You will be responsible for supporting the GM in the delivery of all site operations, ensuring that operational plans are developed and implemented to achieve and exceed the sites Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s). To lead, develop and inspire the team to drive efficiencies and ensure all areas exceed guest expectations in line with Gravity’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
The site will have a structure to support you, but ultimately you must be a team player, and happy to get involved running the site. You will also be managing a team, so strong leadership skills and proven experience is a must.
Your experience
- 2+ years proven operational leadership in a customer facing business, managing diverse teams.
- A proven track record of attracting new customers and delivering consistently good guest experiences.
- Experience of managing a P&L, including financial sales budgets and stock control.
- A demonstratable track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining talent.
