Reception Shift Leader mission:
We are seeking a Reception Shift Leader to lead our dynamic Front Office team at ME London, ensuring that every guest receives impeccable service and that all receptionists and cashiers meet the highest standards of guest care and professionalism. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising daily shifts at Reception, fostering a positive and efficient environment, and ensuring the smooth running of guest check-ins and check-outs.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise the daily shift on Reception, ensuring the team delivers excellent guest service and follows all hotel standards and procedures.
- Ensure all staff on duty adhere to security, health, and safety regulations at all times.
- Organize and oversee the Reception team to ensure full desk coverage and that all team members take their scheduled meal breaks.
- Coordinate the handling of special requests for VIP guests, regulars, and groups, in alignment with the Reception Management team.
- Ensure the team is aware of room availability, overbookings, and any specific requirements for the day.
- Assist in the implementation of new operational procedures and staff training to continually improve service standards.
- Ensure adherence to the hotel’s credit and billing procedures, providing guidance where needed.
- Maintain close communication with Housekeeping and Concierge to ensure smooth follow-up on guest requests.
Our VIP talent will need:
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in a related role within a luxury hotel environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the Opera system (or similar property management systems).
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional and personable demeanor with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
