Line Chef

Obica, authentic, Italian Restaurant is looking for an experienced and dedicated Line Chef

Knowledge of Authentic Italian Cuisine required

Basic knowledge of restaurant operations with a minimum of 1-year experience

We are ideally looking for candidates who:

·       Manage all activities in the kitchen, including food preparation and production

• Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner
• Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in line with the specifications
• Monitor holding and storage operations, stocking and food rotation, and guarantee sanitation standards are met

·       Ability to work the line

• Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
• Sense of urgency
• Can do attitude
• Have a genuine passion for food
• Previous experience within hospitality or service-based industry would be ideal but not essential

·       Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom

• Food safety level 2 will be a plus
