Bill’s needs a driven, organised, personable, resilient candidate to join our People Team as People Business Partner.

The role is predominantly based at our Head Office (Conway Street) but some travel to various sites may be expected. There is the possibility to work from home one day per week following successful probation.

The successful candidate will work with the People Teams and Restaurant Teams to create, drive and ensure the effective implementation of People Strategy and to ensure we have the right people in place to deliver not only a great guest experience but to drive the wider business strategy for the year ahead.

It is essential for you to be highly organised and process driven. A passion for the hospitality sector would not be amiss!

You will work under the People Director and be supported by a People coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

· To work with the People and Operations Teams in ensuring the People team support the Field based and Restaurant Teams in ensuring that our ER communications are acted upon quickly drawing upon in-house or external advice, as the need may be, to ensure Employment Law is followed and any in site issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

· To create and implement a People Plan across the Company, partnering with the Learning and Development and Recruitment teams to deliver training plans that focus on developing the existing talent within teams for internal promotion and identifying recruitment needs before they become detrimental to the operations of the site.

· To act efficiently in monitoring and ensuring that People Team Projects are effectively managed and ensuring any deadlines are met.

· To create and oversee the roll out to use and to oversee implementation and monitoring of these plans with regular monitoring and reporting on overall trends of retention and recruitment within the business.

· To actively lead the people agenda in both projects and collaborative working with other departments to deliver effectively on the People Strategy.

· To ensure that any updates to HR policy and compliance are clearly, quickly, and effectively communicated to all teams within the business – with appropriate training guides created and delivered where needed.

· To ensure fair implementation of salary bandings and benefits package throughout the business for new starters and current teams.

· To assist the wider team in their roles and with specialist People / HR projects across the business and indeed as needed across the Group.

· To drive employee engagement, ensure best practice in relevant ER matters and to ensure the business is safe, compliant but also that our team members are valued and developed appropriately.

· To lead or support on coaching and upskilling site management teams on ER matters.

· To facilitate and support the best use of external ER advice when appropriate, considering the needs and resources of the business.

· To support and develop the HR coordinator.

· To ensure the business remains compliant in HR/Employment law matters, with the support of the People Team and the wider Group.

· To support and develop the relationship with our 48 sites across the country. To support our general managers in delivering the service our guests deserve.

· To support the continued success and reputation of our Brand and work in partnership with the Group (Ivy/Caprice/Birley) as required.

·To operate in a Business Partner capacity within the People Team bringing a strong commercially focused view point.

About you

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Senior HR advisor, People Manager or Business Partner ready to take on a new challenge, CIPD accreditation from level 5 and above is desirable but relevant experience and a drive to make a difference will be considered.

·High levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity. You need to be highly organised and process driven.

·Must be self-motivated, proactive, and driven, passionate about working in a partnering capacity and driving continuous improvement, for yourself and others.

·You should have effective communication skills and the ability to build a positive rapport and develop a positive working relationship with the team around you and with the wider business.

·It would be desirable for you to have some experience in working in hospitality but alternatively an awareness of the challenges currently faced by our sector and a keen interest for it will be considered.

A good understanding of ER cases and the wish to get involved in more strategic HR projects.
