We have a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity within our Leased Operations team for an Associate Lease Operations Manager here at Mitchells & Butlers. We are at the heart of hospitality with a Leased estate of approximately 90 businesses and with over 1,700 managed sites we’re the home of some of the nation’s favourite restaurants, bustling bars, cosy country pubs and the local you didn’t know we owned.  If you’re as passionate about hospitality as we are, we want to hear from you!

 

As Associate Lease Operations Manager you would be present and visible for day-to-day activities dealing with the existing lessees to ensure they maintain their current levels of satisfaction with MAB. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to gain experience in this area in greater depth. The ideal candidate would be in a junior management role within an existing pub company and be looking to gain experience to progress their experience and capability.

The Opportunity – Associate Lease Operations Manager

  • Achieve Targeted Profit Levels in partnership with tenants and Lease Operations Managers
  • Achieve Targeted Debt Levels in partnership with tenants and Lease Operations Managers
  • Carry Out Annual Condition Surveys with internal Area Building Managers
  • Visit every pub at least Once a Quarter to carry out Regular Business Reviews
  • Ensure NSF Compliance with each applicable lessee

 

What you’ll need to bring to the Lease Operations Manager role

  • Junior management experience within an existing pub company
  • Knowledge of the Leased & Tenant Market
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Framework within a Leased & Tenanted Environment
  • Ability to engage with tenants/stakeholders to maximise business potential
  • Sound commercial and financial awareness
  • Passion & commitment to motivate and influence others
  • Strong communication, negotiation & influencing skills
  • Curiosity – particularly in relation to competitor offers and industry developments
