School Cleaners

We are currently looking for cleaners for a school in the Berkhamstead area.

You will be responsible for undertaking general cleaning duties to ensure the classrooms. activities areas and common passageways are clean and hygienic.

Main responsibilities and duties

1. Clean to a high standard following the guidelines set out by the Housekeeping Manager.

2. To use all cleaning materials and equipment in a safe and proper manner and in accordance with any instructions and specifications provided.

3. To report any damage to the building in the workplace to the Housekeeping Manager (or other nominated supervisor).

4. Adhere to schools health & safety policy.

5. Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in accordance with the school’s safeguarding and child protection policy.

6. Maintain a professional demeanour at all times, building a good working relationship with teachers and other school staff.
