Adecco are working in partnership with Serco to recruit catering assistants to work as an essential public service worker, where you will be a vital member of the team and the operation at the James Cook Hospital.

Terms of Employment

• Pay rate: 11.44 per hour
• 2 week rota Week 1 Monday & Tuesday 12:00 - 17:00 Saturday & Sunday 09:00 - 17:00Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 12:00 - 17:00

Overview

Comply with the Company's policies and Procedures to ensure efficient service delivery.

Support the Retail catering Supervisor and Management team in the effective discharge of their duties.

As a Catering Assistant you will be responsible for:

·Assisting with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers

·Ensuring that the Restaurant and service areas are clean and tidy

·Ensuring health& safety and Food& Safety regulations are followed

·Maintaining outstanding levels of customer service, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, cash register operations and safeguarding company assets

·General cleaning of the food areas

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

·Previous experience in a similar role

·The ability to accurately process information/merchandise through the Till system with a good standard of numeracy

·Excellent customer service skills

·First class communication skills and demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail

·The ability to demonstrate great teamwork
