Position: School Cleaner

Location: Pucklechurch

Pay Rate: £15-17 per hour

Responsibilities as School Cleaner:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, ensuring that toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors are thoroughly maintained.
• Empty trash bins, replace liners, and manage waste disposal in accordance with established guidelines.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery safely, reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, using cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the Site Supervisor or appropriate personnel, assisting with minor repairs if necessary.
• Communicate with school staff to address specific cleaning requests or issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements for this position:

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Proven professional references
• Previous experience as Cleaner is an advantage
• Efficient in carrying out cleaning tasks
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment and chemicals
• Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
