We are now looking for Part Qualified Management Accountant to join our team at our head office in Wakefield.

What you’ll be doing…

You will be commercially minded; you will work closely with your peers providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making. As a direct report of the Financial Controller, you will oversee Pre Payments, Accruals, Debits and Credit.

Your key skills needed to succeed.

  • Ideally be part qualified CIMA or AAT
  • Experience of working within a larger organisation with large numbers of weekly transactions
  •  Payroll processing experience would be great, especially experience of Access.
  • Someone who is happy to take on responsibility and stretch your knowledge and learn from your peers.

Qualifications & Training

  • At least 2 years commercial experience, with the last 1 working as a Junior Management accountant
  • Formal accounting qualifications are necessary for this position.
  • Previous experience in working within a Management Accountant environment

  • Commercially astute to be able to analyse problems and help with decision making.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with business sensitive information.

Product Knowledge

  • Proficient with core Microsoft software.
  • A good working knowledge of Access.
  • Experience of Sage payroll.
