JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of this job is to assist the Head Chef in ensuring efficient kitchen operations, maintaining the integrity of authentic recipes, and achieving high levels of guest satisfaction as per restaurant standards.


MAIN DUTIES:

  • Demonstrate expertise across all kitchen sections, ensuring efficient team use and versatility in all areas.
  • Prepare all sections for each meal service, maintaining the restaurant’s standards of flair, creativity, and quality.
  • Monitor dish quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring adherence to high culinary standards.
  • Oversee food ordering, receiving, and inventory to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Train and evaluate kitchen staff, providing feedback and development, while managing schedules to ensure shift coverage.
