Chef de Partie
Mission: Ensure food service is executed successfully and in alignment with the quality standards established by the Hotel. Responsible for the quality, preparation, and presentation of all food produced in the assigned kitchen, as well as the efficiency of team members, and the cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness of areas under their responsibility.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with direct supervisors to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained within authorised limits, based on current occupancy and estimated number of covers.
- Ensure that team members follow standard preparation and presentation procedures, as defined in quality standards, recipes, and visual guidelines. Oversee portion control and minimize waste in both hot and cold kitchens.
- Maintain awareness of the hotel's and department’s economic objectives and actively support their achievement.
- Support the implementation of action plans to enhance team engagement and a positive work environment.
- Enhance the guest experience through personalized service, anticipating guest needs and striving to exceed expectations.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the department’s personal protective equipment and support correct usage through relevant training initiatives.
- Actively work to minimize food waste.
· Fluent in English and Spanish knowledege would be advantageous
· Knowledge of food handling, hygiene and food safety
· Own culinary knowledge
· Teamwork, passion for service and customer oriented
· Proactivity
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar environment.
The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
