An experienced Chef de Partie / Sous Chef is needed to join the team at this leading traditional Country Pub based in Herne Common on a full-time basis.
The pub is a small but mighty family-run business proud to have earned an excellent reputation. Their kitchen is well-equipped and organised and boasts a 5-star hygiene rating.
The selected candidate must be able to work 45-50 hours per week and maintain good personal hygiene.
You can earn cash tips averaging £50-£80 per week.

About the Pub
The pub is a traditional Country Pub located in a beautiful part of Kent, between Herne Bay and Canterbury. The new owners acquired it in September 2019, completely refurbished it, and gave it a new, quirky name.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing salads, sauces, side dishes, starters, and desserts
- Maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Provide assistance to the Head Chef in all aspects of running the kitchen
- Helping with the management of kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
- Assisting in the planning and creation of menus
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Well-organised and with the ability to work well under pressure
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of working with fresh ingredients
- Experience in cooking fresh fish, meat and vegetables
