Salary £26,000 FTE- pro rota to part time hours. This role is available on a part time basis, with flexibility of this being across 3-5 days, with hours to suit school hours if desired. All to be discussed at interview.
What you’ll be doing?
This is an exciting and newly created role to join our team as Hotel Administrator, combined with PA responsibilities for the General Manager. This is more than just an administrative position – we’re looking for someone who will quickly become an integral part of our day-to-day operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
In this role, you’ll take on a variety of responsibilities that will make a real impact across the hotel. You'll quickly become a key player, supporting the smooth running of the hotel with high levels of ownership. Proficient in Microsoft365, you'll manage daily administrative tasks, from coordinating reports and paperwork to compiling meeting minutes and preparing presentations. Whether it's internal strategy documents, financial reviews, or even creating internal posters, you'll play a vital role in driving proactive communications across the hotel.
You'll regularly liaise with both the hotel management team and our Head Office, juggling diary management, meeting coordination, and preparing crucial paperwork for various projects. Your ability to prioritise competing tasks in a busy environment, paired with strong communication skills, will be critical as you work closely with senior colleagues. Professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail will be key to your success, as will your ability to juggle multiple tasks while keeping everything running like clockwork. What you’ll need?
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a mix of organisational skills, professionalism and a proactive approach. More specifically:
- Proficiency across Microsoft 365 – Word, Excel and Powerpoint and be eager to leverage technology to streamline tasks;
- Exceptional communication skills – whether its face to face, email or over the phone – you’ll enjoy interacting with and helping people;
- Attention to detail – multi tasking, from meeting minutes to deadlines, all with precision;
- Ideally, you will have some experience of working in a hotel perhaps in another capacity, with the ability to combine your administrative skills with working hotel knowledge;
