Our latest member of the Arcade family.... Solis are seeking a Sous Chef to join their team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable, and passionate about all thing’s food and drink.

Social Media hit and overfall fab restaurant, Solis are recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef!

...Straight from the grill come spatchcock chicken with smoked Aji-Aji oil and flat-iron steak with peppery steak sauce, both served with Asador salad and crispy fries. Para Picar include spiced tuna devilled eggs (Huevos Rellenos), street-style corn on the cob, and crispy beef croquetas with caramelised onion. Bocadillos on the lunch menu comprise soft brioche rolls filled with a choice of grilled steak, onion and herb spread; chicken with garlicky Mojo Verde and Gordal olives; or beef meatballs, tomato salsa and scorched cheese. Don't miss the famously creamy cheesecake (Torta Queso) with berry sauce and wash it all down with sangria, Argentine and Urugyuan cocktails or a glass of Latin American wine.

The Position

As Sous Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of consistent, high quality and innovative dishes.  You will manage the overall kitchen operation, including prep schedules, stock control, budgeting and maintenance, as well as the day to day management of the kitchen team.

If you have the following, then we want to hear from you:

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment;
• A highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail;
• Proven ability to manage, train and motivate a Kitchen brigade;
• Experience in managing staff costs, scheduling and reviewing staff rotas;
• Strengths in finances, purchasing and menu costing;
• A working knowledge of health and safety, compliance and procedures;
