Woolley Grange Hotel, a beautiful country retreat in the heart of Wiltshire is now seeking a motivated and talented Chef de Partie to join our brilliant team. If you are a dedicated and skilled chef, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a luxury hotel known for its exceptional service and welcoming culture.
This a permanent role at 40 hours per week (including weekends), with a salary of £28,000 plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefit package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily food preparation and cooking.
- Maintain high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Ensure proper portion control and minimise food wastage.
- Collaborate with other team members to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
- Keep the kitchen organised and clean.
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for food and creativity.
- Charisma, an engaging personality and passion for hospitality
- Ability to keep calm and focussed during busy service, keeping your station clean and tidy throughout.
- Food Hygiene level 2 would be beneficial.
- Organisational and time-management skill and effective communication and teamwork skills.
