POSITION OVERVIEW
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team at The Ritz London within the Maintenance Department as a Shift Engineer.
Our Shift Engineer is responsible to respond to a variety of maintenance related tasks and will therefore need to demonstrate experience and knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including heating & air conditioning systems, as well as electrical and plumbing services. This role requires interaction with guests, colleagues, contractors, service providers, visitors alike- you must be able to communicate effectively and are expected to respond to any queries promptly and efficiently.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Qualifications in Maintenance / Engineering procedures or skills desired
- Relevant experience in a Five-star hotel property is desirable
- Knowledge of fire, safety, and risk procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
- Good command of the English language
- Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
