Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Coordinator (People & Culture) to join our team, supporting HR operations across both restaurants. This role is ideal for a versatile professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can divide their time effectively between the two locations. The HR Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring smooth HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage HR functions across both locations, fostering a positive and cohesive workplace culture
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees
- Support managers and staff in HR-related issues, promoting clear communication and fair practices
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and labour laws
- Collaborate on initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
- Working hours: This employment is office-based and runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- HR Coordinator is the primary point of contact for approx. 100 employees.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in an HR role, ideally within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple locations and handle sensitive matters with confidentiality
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and improving HR processes
