Meeting & Events Sales Manager
We are seeking an exceptional and passionate leader to oversee and drive the development of our event department in Berlin. If you are an inspiring leader and communicator, deeply passionate about events, and have a genuine desire to make a significant impact, then your journey should begin here. Help us create unforgettable experiences. Join us as we shape the future of Europe's fastest-moving, groundbreaking lifestyle and hospitality brand.
WHO ARE WE
Generator is on a journey. Appropriate, given that we're a leading global lifestyle accommodation brand. The journey began in London, swung through a heap of European capitals on its way to dominating the world. Generator burst onto the scene in the Americas with the launch of Generator Miami and Washington DC and most recently took aim at the country’s biggest markets (NYC, LA, Miami and Chicago) with the acquisition of Freehand Hotels.
No biggie. Fast Company named us one of the top 50 most innovative global companies. We, of course, agree. And now this top 50 most innovative global company (did we mention that?) wants a pretty awesome Bar Manager for Generator Berlin Mitte.
Our spaces are safe and seriously social, in the proudest part of the beating heart of the cities we love. Cultural action, creative pulse and an outstanding way to waste some of the finite time the universe has given you - that's what Generator offers. Holds true for staff and visitors equally, and while chic design is always the backdrop, every Generator in every destination reflects the unique beat of that city's heart.
BEING YOURSELF is the key to bringing the Generator story and brand to life.
ABOUT GENERATOR BERLIN MITTE
Winner of the 2017 Trip Expert Experts' Choice Award. Berlin’s renaissance has made it one of the most appealing cities for artists and musicians, its reputation cemented as a cultural powerhouse where epic party nights aren’t just one-offs. Once you come you won’t want to leave. Generator Berlin Mitte is right in the heart of the city. Formerly two 19th century office buildings, it’s now fused into one arts-focused über hostel. And it’s all within stress-free walking distance of Hackescher Markt, Alexanderplatz and Kunsthaus Tacheles.
For art enthusiasts, the hostel includes a sculptural string installation by French artist Sebastian Preschoux and corridors filled with super-sized signature faces by Thierry Noir. A historic courtyard, vibrant social spaces and a chill-out library make it feel like a real home away from home.
